For my Major Writing Assignment in my English 101 class, I will be writing a proposal. I will be writing about DWI's in Albuquerque, as you know it is something that is very large and common in this city. This will be the topic that I am planning to write about. This will be a proposal that will include specific details over the issue of drinking and driving. I will make sure to talk about other people's personal experiences on DWI's. My proposal will also include some solutions that I would like to talk about. I think that this is a good topic to talk about simply because there is so much information that I can add. I personally know people who know what it is like and what they had to go through. The paper will be organized in a step by step process. The paper will basically have the introduction talking about experiences and by the end it will reveal what the main issue is. Most of the information that I will provide is based on research, interviews and important facts that are occurring in New Mexico over drinking and driving. I will list my thoughts over this issue and what I think would be necessary to do for this problem. I may not be able to actually fix the issue but I can at least write about my opinions over the matter. It is always good to think about things that are important even if you feel that there is nothing that you can do. I chose to write about DWI's because it is a big deal from where I am from. Therefore I knew that this proposal would be a good way for me to express my views and to be able to show what I would like to propose to this problem based on my arguments. Of course I will also conclude my proposal stating a brief finishing of what I would like or hope for in the future for this state.
